Security Disclaimer
KAVRO helps you make a better decision before you open something. It doesn't make that decision safe.
What you need to know
- No security scanner can guarantee detection of every malicious URL.
- A clean result doesn't guarantee that a website is safe. It only means no known threat was found.
- Unknown or unchecked URLs must not be considered safe.
- KAVRO doesn't replace antivirus software or other device protection.
- KAVRO can't guarantee the prevention of financial fraud.
- KAVRO never approves financial transactions. It only shows what a code says and can hand off to another app after you confirm.
- You must independently verify payment recipients. A code can name anyone.
Why results can be wrong
Databases only know what has been reported, so new or targeted attacks may be missing. Sites can change after a check, or show different content to different visitors. Local checks are heuristics and produce both false alarms and misses. A domain-only check can miss a threat on one page.
What the labels mean
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed Malicious | A threat database returned a confirmed match. |
| Suspicious | Local checks or a weak database signal found warning signs. |
| No Known Threat Detected | At least two independent databases answered and neither lists it. This is not proof of safety. |
| Not Checked | There isn't enough information. Treat it as unknown. |
